Overworld High Muges

Alright we will start with Najarin. He may not have as many Mugic counters as his predecessor did but he makes up for it by makeing them cheap. Really cheap. If you plsy with guy with stuff like the Chimegrid and Mipedian Balladeers Flute he is sure to make all your Mugical problems vanish. Of all the hugh Muges he has the most wisdom and he is tied for highest health with Lore HM makeing him without doubt a formitable card to put into a muge deck. In the more conservative and normal streamline decks however, I would lean more to Najarin FF for gaining tons of mugic and being to heal (especially with the Mipedian Balladeers flute which would give him 2 mugic counters instead of one).
So the ending question for this guy is "is he worth it?".My answer, it all depends on your gameplay. Najarin FF is not loyal (unlike this guy) and he has more mugic counter and the ability to gain more (which is always a good thing) but Najarin HM doesn't need to gain more mugic because he can take three 2MC cost mugic (with the help of the Flute) and play them no problem. Now I am not an Overworld player but I bet that would relieve/help anyone with playing the more powerful Mugic in their tribe by not haveing to worry about where the MC is going to come from. So my answe for "Is he worth it?" is, yes. But I am not saying he outranks Najarin FF at all. it all depends on the gameplan.

Now onto Enre-hep HM

With his tricky Mipedian ability he can effectively give you 8 Mugic cards! But as I always seem to find in Mipedian decks the problem is actually being able to pay for all 8 of those Mugic and not be straining yourself, BUT imagine being able to play fanfare of the vanishing 4 times! Or other cool mipedian mugic, like trills of demunition. There are lots of ways of tossing this guy into a deck and being a little trickier with your mugic. Imagine you playing a really cool Mugic and your opponent thinking "wow I am glad thats over" then boom! it happens again even though that card is in the discard pile! But how does he measure up to his predecessor? well the last one was a conjuror who caused recklessness which would be terrifying for anyone. I mean C'mon having your creatures killing themselves off and you not being able to stop it, if played right that ability could be a game winner. His card was the basis for many Ribbien/recklessness that tore your opponent to ribbons without HAVEING to have amazing attacks or mugic or locations. So who would I use? well with Akkalbi from FUn being used with UW decks I am not sure. I think in a standard Mipedian deck I would use the new one, so I could play mugic again and again and again and annoy my opponent. But that doesn't mean the old one is useless. Like I said before those reckless causeing decks cripple the opponent if you make them right, But the winner of this one? Enre-hep High Muge

  1. You are definitely right on both accounts of comparison, between old and new.
